The GDPR is now in force

Posted
May 31, 2018

Well, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is now in force and, so far, the sky has not fallen in.  So what now?

If you have already got your house in order – you’ve audited your business, updated your written terms with clients and suppliers, issued privacy notices to your employees etc. - then you may be in a position to sit back and feel a little bit smug.  However, for those of you who are not feeling quite so secure, all is not lost.  It’s never too late to get to grips with the GDPR.

If you’re looking for an easy way to begin the process of becoming ‘GDPR-compliant’, why not visit our website and read the series of articles written by Richard Burraston, a member of our Litigation Team?  Here’s a link to the first one:

After that, if you want to know more, you can contact a member of the team directly; James Willis (james.willis@stevensdrake.com), Paul Dungate (paul.dungate@stevensdrake.com) and Richard Burraston (richard.burraston@stevensdrake.com) would be more than happy to help.
