We are pleased to announce that Nusrat Qureishi, Head of the Corporate and Commercial team here at stevensdrake solicitors, has provided UK legal advice and assisted Pakistan counsel in advising the Sapphire Group, one of Pakistan’s leading private sector employers, in a significant joint venture.

This collaboration, through its Pakistan-based flagship company Sapphire Textile Mills Limited (STM) with RTS Textiles Ltd (RTS) and RTS Textiles Group Ltd (RTS Group), created a global powerhouse in the workwear and protective textiles market. The newly formed entity will be led by RTS, with minority shareholdings held by TMG - Acabamentos Têxteis S.A. (TMG) and Sapphire Textile Mills Limited (STM).

This merger enhances the global market position of all parties involved and opens new avenues for growth and innovation in the textile industry. We are proud to have played a role in facilitating this landmark deal and look forward to witnessing the continued success of the partnership.

Congratulations to Nusrat for all of her hard work!
